How to Make Tons of Great Content

How to create great content graphic with a computer

Social media is being consumed at scale these days; people are on social platforms constantly! In order for your brand to reach consumers you need to connect with them, not just provide a good sales pitch. You need to show people why your brand is great, authentic, and worth their money. Here are a two ways how you can up your content creating skills and get more people talking about your brand, not just your sales techniques.

Document, Don’t Create

One of the biggest reasons why people don’t make enough content is because they run out of ideas! I often find it difficult to think of creative content ideas too, and whenever that happens I take a step back and take a broader approach. Instead of trying to fine-tune the perfect idea, I think about what I do everyday and document it. Chances are that someone out there is interested in what you’re doing so you should show them! Plus, creating content about what actually happens in your work life is authentic and helps people build trust with your brand. People like content that is focused on interactions with people!

Documenting content is easy. Film yourself giving a presentation, take a picture of your workstation, share your thoughts about the day. However you think about sharing your day, get it out there for people to see.

Repurpose Old Content

Repurposing old content that you’ve already created is like digital antiquing. There can be some great stuff left behind if you look for it! Repurposing old content can take lots of different forms and helps your brand build a foundation. If you’re returning to older ideas and giving them new life, you’re building a foundation that your brand can use to build trust with consumers.

You can use older content in so many different ways too. If you’re repurposing a YouTube video, you can use screenshots with your thoughts for Instagram or Twitter, snippets of the video can be used on TikTok or Instagram Reels, and you can create graphics and share your current/updated thoughts about that video on LinkedIn. That one video now gave you five or more pieces of content to share!

Wrapping Up

Creating great content is all about catering to your audience and building connections to your consumers. By documenting and sharing your real stories and repurposing content that you’ve already created, you can do just that without having to stress about finding that one, great content idea. Think about what you do on a daily basis, and even if you don’t think people on social will be interested in it, document and give it a try! The results may surprise you;)
